Poker Mentor brings a Texas Hold'em training table, starting-hand charts, drills and hand review together on your Windows PC. Practice at your own pace, see the reasoning behind the app's estimates and keep your training progress on your device. No account or internet connection is needed to train.
PRACTICE THE DECISION, THEN REVIEW IT
Play simulated hands from preflop to showdown against 1 to 6 computer opponents. Compare fold, call/check and raise choices with local Monte Carlo estimates of win, tie, loss and equity. Start with the simpler Normal table, or use Advanced mode to explore estimated expected value (EV) and possible hand outcomes.
BUILD YOUR STARTING-HAND KNOWLEDGE
Use the color-coded preflop chart as a baseline for early, middle and late-position decisions. Test yourself with preflop and postflop drills, then review the feedback. Street and bet-size settings let you vary your postflop practice.
REVISIT HANDS AND CUSTOM SITUATIONS
Paste supported PokerStars- or 888poker-style hand-history text for a local summary and basic coach notes. The Custom Spot Trainer lets you vary the street, opponents, stack, pot, call size, raise size and assumed equity to compare estimated decisions.
SEE WHAT TO PRACTICE NEXT
Track drill accuracy, streaks and reviewed-hand counts. The local Leak Finder records differences between your choices and the app's estimated best action, so you can return to decisions that need another look.
BUILT FOR OFFLINE PRACTICE
Training statistics and pasted hand histories are processed locally. Coaching, EV and strategy frequencies are simplified estimates, not exact GTO solver results or predictions of real-world performance.
