Privacy Policy for BenchTag — Workshop Labels & QR Codes

BenchTag processes the part names, SKUs, bin locations, unit counts, supplier details and reorder URLs you enter or import. These records may include personal information. The app stores its working records locally on your Windows device and uses them to create label previews, QR codes, CSV exports and print jobs you request.
BenchTag does not require an account, upload your label records to the publisher, or include advertising, analytics or cloud synchronization. You control the CSV files you import or export and the printer used for your labels. Export a backup before replacing or removing records. Local records and print jobs are subject to Windows account permissions and printer settings. Exported files and printed labels remain under your control.
QR codes contain either the reorder URL you supply or an offline part record. Anyone who can read or scan a printed label can access its contents. Opening an external supplier URL uses an external browser or device and is governed by that website’s privacy policy. Cloud-synced or network folders may separately synchronize your files. Windows and Microsoft Store handle purchase, licensing and diagnostic information under their own policies. BenchTag does not receive payment-card details.
This policy applies to BenchTag, not to external websites, printers or software.
