Documentation AI Suite — privacy policy
Updated 8 September 2026. Store display publisher: Vellora Studio One. For privacy questions or support, use https://vellorastudio.one/support/index.html. The existing local folder name Sortcapital is a storage-path identifier; this policy does not assert a different legal company relationship.
Documentation AI Suite records only after you select a window and press Start. It installs a mouse hook while recording, filters capture to that selected foreground window, and removes the hook on stop or exit. Minimize is not stop. Pause blocks capture. No keyboard hook, clipboard reader, telemetry, analytics, account or upload API is implemented by the app.
The application stores screenshot PNGs, edited guide text, click coordinates, action type and best-effort accessibility control/window labels locally. It does not read text-field values through accessibility. Pixels can still show confidential data, password managers, personal information and overlapping windows or notifications. Password detection cannot guarantee privacy. Do not record confidential screens without authority.
Initial setup, when you choose it, connects to Hugging Face over HTTPS and may follow its download/CDN redirects. Those providers receive normal connection metadata, including your IP address, but the app sends no captured screenshots or guide text. The downloaded files are pinned by revision, length and SHA-256 and reverified before loading. Optional English generative-AI drafting runs locally after setup, using captured control labels rather than image understanding. Drafts can be inaccurate or inappropriate; review and edit them before sharing.
Installed data uses local AppData; portable data uses the Data folder beside the executable. User-selected opened projects and exports may reside elsewhere, including synced folders if you choose them. Review and redact before export. Redaction replaces project image pixels and clears step text/metadata but is not secure forensic erasure; operating-system backups, file recovery and older exports can retain previous data.
The app does not encrypt guide files itself. Protect access to your Windows account and chosen storage locations, and use appropriate device/storage protection for sensitive work. Projects autosave; there is no automatic retention/deletion schedule. You can edit or delete guide steps and manage your own saved folders and exports. Before uninstalling, preserve any guides you need; Windows may remove application-managed data depending on installation type. Uninstalling or deleting a guide does not erase older exports, synced copies or backups elsewhere.
Reporting AI concerns and contacting support
Local AI > Report AI concern explains how to report inappropriate or harmful generated instructions. The dialog opens without making a network request. Only if you choose Open support website does the app ask your default browser to open the fixed support URL above. It does not put guide content, prompts, screenshots, logs, device identifiers or clipboard content in that URL, attach files, or send a report automatically.
The browser/support site receives ordinary web-connection information. You decide whether to contact support and what to share there; remove confidential information before doing so. Any information you choose to provide is handled as support correspondence, not as an automatic upload from this app. Do not include another person's private information without authority. Reporting a concern does not guarantee the quality or safety of AI output.
Windows, Microsoft Store, drivers, your browser and any configured backup/sync services operate under their own policies and settings. This policy describes the app, not a guarantee that the entire device has no network activity.
