HDD Space Optimizer — Privacy Policy
Publisher: Vellora Studio One. Updated: 28 August 2026.
HDD Space Optimizer analyzes drives or folders you choose on your Windows device. File and folder names, paths, sizes and file types are processed locally to build disk-usage views and cleanup recommendations. Paths can contain personal information. The app does not upload your scan results or file contents to the publisher.
The app does not require an account and has no advertising, publisher analytics, cloud synchronization or online sharing feature. Scan results are held locally during the running session. Closing the app ends that in-memory session.
Opening a file location uses Windows Explorer. Recycling is performed only for selected actionable files after confirmation, using the Windows Recycle Bin. Review every selection and maintain your own backups. Recycle Bin availability and recovery depend on Windows and the selected storage location. Uninstalling the app does not undo file operations or restore files.
Microsoft Store purchases, downloads and updates, Windows diagnostics and any backup or recording tools you use are governed by their respective providers. The publisher does not receive a scan database to retain, sell or share. If you contact support, avoid sending sensitive filenames or personal file contents.
