CivicSort OCR — Privacy Policy
Effective date: 7 September 2026
Publisher: Vellora Studio One

CivicSort OCR processes the documents and folders you select on your Windows computer. It reads document text and images locally to propose dates, categories and filenames. English and Spanish OCR models are bundled; document processing does not require a cloud service. The app does not send your documents, OCR text, identifiers, filenames, folder paths or activity reports to us. It has no advertising or analytics service.

Documents may contain sensitive personal information. Identifier extraction can be disabled. When enabled, identifiers are masked in previews by default. Reports exclude raw identifiers, raw OCR text, source paths and destination filenames. Masking the preview does not redact the original document.

The app copies documents by default. Moving requires your explicit choice. Files and reports you create remain in the destination you choose until you remove them. Keep originals and archives access-controlled; any cloud synchronization or backup of your folders is controlled by your Windows and storage settings, not by CivicSort OCR. Temporary page images used to process PDFs are removed after processing.

Microsoft handles Store purchase and licensing information under its own privacy policies. If you contact support, we receive the information you choose to send. Do not send sensitive documents or raw identifiers.
