Learn the Clock works offline. The application does not transmit learner information to the developer and contains no advertising SDK, analytics service, online account system or application network client.
Optional nicknames and age groups, learning progress, stars and settings are stored locally on the current Windows user’s device. No name, birth date, email address or account is required. Use an anonymous nickname rather than a child’s real name. Optional spoken instructions use installed Windows speech synthesis voices. The app does not record audio or use the microphone.
Parents can delete a profile in Parent Area. Deletion is saved to both the main progress file and its recovery backup. The developer cannot access or recover these local records. For the portable version, local data is stored under %LOCALAPPDATA%/StarkiWarrel/LearnTheClock. Windows may redirect this location for packaged apps. Removing only the portable executable folder does not delete the separate progress folder.
Windows backups, device synchronization and Microsoft Store diagnostics are controlled by Windows and the user’s settings, not by this app. The application has no cloud synchronization or third-party data sharing.
