Local Private LLM brings everyday AI conversations to your own Windows PC. Draft a clearer email, explore a difficult concept, brainstorm a project, or ask for a second opinion on code—with inference running locally.
Start with a compact recommended model, then make the workspace your own. Browse the model library or enter a compatible Ollama model name to download another local text-chat model. See download progress, switch between installed models, remove models you no longer need, and release model memory when you are done.
No cloud AI account or API key is required. Once a model is downloaded, you can chat without an internet connection. The app uses its own isolated local runtime and model library.
Keep useful conversations in history encrypted with Windows user-account protection, or use temporary chat without saving conversation history. Export conversations as Markdown when you choose.
The interface follows your computer's language on first launch. Change it whenever you like: English, Catalan, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, or Arabic. Arabic includes right-to-left layout.
Internet is required to download models. Model licenses and resource requirements vary. Performance depends on hardware and model size. AI responses can be inaccurate and should be checked.
