Rename large batches of files quickly and safely using an Excel or CSV mapping. Excel File Renamer lets you choose a folder or individual files, import old and new names, review every proposed change, resolve duplicate names, and rename with a safe two-phase process.

Everything runs locally on your Windows PC. Your filenames and spreadsheets are never uploaded. Built-in validation highlights missing files, invalid names, duplicates, and conflicts before anything changes. You can also export a mapping template and undo completed rename operations from History.
