Folder to Excel creates file inventories on your Windows PC. When you select a folder, the app reads file and folder metadata, including names, paths, sizes, timestamps and attributes. Names and paths may contain personal information. The scanner does not read file contents and does not upload inventory information to the publisher or a server.
Inventory results remain in app memory until replaced or the app closes. The app saves preferences and recent folder paths locally under your Windows user profile. You can remove that local data from the Vellora Studio/Folder to Excel folder in your Windows Local Application Data directory while the app is closed. Reports are saved only to the destination you choose; exported files remain there until you remove them. You decide whether to share a report with anyone else.
The app does not include advertising, analytics or publisher-operated tracking, and does not sell inventory data. Scanning and exporting work locally. Access to cloud-synced or network folders is subject to your Windows and storage-provider settings; those services may separately synchronize files or exported reports.
Optional Pro purchases and licensing are handled by Microsoft Store under Microsoft's own privacy statement and purchase terms. The app receives the license entitlement needed to enable Pro; it does not receive your payment-card details. Windows and Microsoft Store may collect their own diagnostics and transaction information under their respective settings and policies.
This policy applies to Folder to Excel, not to external software used to open or share your exported reports.
