Image Upscaler AI Lite — Privacy policy
Publisher: Vellora Studio One. Updated: 8 September 2026.
Image Upscaler AI Lite processes images entirely on your Windows device. It does not upload images, prompts, outputs, file names or diagnostics, and does not run a web server or use analytics.
Internet access is used for the user-initiated Initial setup download from the documented official Real-ESRGAN GitHub release and its download host. Those hosts receive ordinary request metadata, such as your IP address. The download is verified against a pinned SHA-256 checksum before installation.
The app reads the local GPU name and memory size. During AI processing it may connect to an already-running RTX AI Monitor under the same Windows user through a local, current-user-only named pipe. It sends a randomly generated processing-session ID, the GPU UUID and start/heartbeat/end signals. It does not send image content, paths or filenames through this connection. The connection is optional and does not leave your device.
Setup mode stores the engine and temporary files under %LOCALAPPDATA%\Sortcapital\Image Upscaler AI Lite; portable mode stores them in Data beside the executable. Exported files are written to the folder you select. Temporary processing and export files are removed after each operation. Existing output files and source images are not replaced. You control exported files and can delete them through Windows.
For privacy questions or to report an AI output concern, contact us through https://vellorastudio.one/support/index.html. Information you choose to send through support is handled separately from local image processing; do not send sensitive images unless necessary.
