SafeMix SDS Logbook — Privacy Policy
Effective September 1, 2026
SafeMix SDS Logbook is a local-first Windows application published by Vellora Studio One. It does not require an account and does not intentionally collect, transmit, sell, or share personal information. It contains no advertising, telemetry, analytics, cloud synchronization, or remote chemical-data service.
Information stored on the device
The application stores records entered by the user, including the workspace name, product and SDS metadata, local document paths, dilution records, location checks, and settings, in the current Windows user's application-data folder. These records may contain information that the user or their organization considers confidential.
Files chosen by the user
SafeMix records a local path when the user selects an SDS document. It does not upload or copy the referenced document. Audit exports and JSON backups are created only after the user chooses a destination. Referenced SDS documents are not included in audit exports.
Retention and deletion
Users control retention by editing or deleting records. Uninstalling SafeMix and deleting its local application-data folder removes the application's working data. Backups and exported audit folders remain wherever the user saved them and must be deleted separately.
Security and responsibility
SafeMix is a recordkeeping tool and does not provide legal, regulatory, chemical, or safety advice. Users and their organizations are responsible for protecting device data, backups, exports, and referenced documents according to their own requirements.
