BenchKeep stores equipment records, maintenance schedules, usage-meter readings, service notes, costs and downtime locally on your Windows PC. Notes, asset names and imported records may contain personal information. The app uses these records only to provide the maintenance planning, history and reporting functions you request.

The app does not require an account, send your records to the publisher, include advertising or analytics, or provide cloud synchronization. Working records and preferences are stored in the application data folder on your device. Settings can show the data location and export or import a JSON backup. Keep a backup before importing replacement data or deleting records. Exported backups remain at the location you choose until you delete them. You control whether you share exported files. Local records are protected by your Windows account and device settings; they are not a substitute for your own backups.

Cloud-synced or network folders may independently synchronize files under their provider settings. Windows and Microsoft Store process purchase, licensing and diagnostic information under their own policies. The app does not receive payment-card details.

BenchKeep does not provide regulatory certification or safety advice. Maintenance intervals are defined by the user. This policy applies to BenchKeep, not to external software or services.
