# QuietRunway Privacy Policy
Effective date: 28 August 2026
Publisher: Vellora Studio One.
QuietRunway is designed to work entirely on your Windows device.
## Data we collect
The developer does not collect, receive, sell, share, or transmit personal data through QuietRunway. The app contains no analytics, advertising, telemetry, account system, bank connection, or network feature.
## Data stored on your device
Scenario names, balances, monthly values, reserve floors, and adjustments are saved locally in the app storage associated with your Windows user profile. You can also choose to export this information to a human-readable JSON file in a location you select.
QuietRunway does not encrypt locally stored scenario data. Anyone who can access your Windows profile or an exported scenario file may be able to read it. Do not enter account numbers, passwords, bank credentials, or other unnecessary identifiers.
## Data deletion
You can replace the current scenario by using “Load demo.” To remove the Store app's local data, open Windows Settings, Apps, QuietRunway, Advanced options, and choose Reset where available. Back up any scenario you want to keep first. Uninstall behavior can vary by Windows version and package type. Exported JSON files remain wherever you saved them and must be deleted separately. Files exported into a synchronized folder may be uploaded by your own synchronization software.
## Children
QuietRunway is a general planning utility and does not knowingly collect data from children or any other user.
## Changes
If a future version adds any online service, analytics, or data collection, this policy and the in-app disclosure must be updated before that version is released.
